Cork Penny Dinners Fundraiser Spectacular!

We are proud to present for you again in 2019, this time in conjunction with Cork City Council, another inspring range of wellbeing classes for you to experience in the beautiful grounds of Cork’s Fitzgerald’s Park. Sure what else would you want to do on a summer Sunday afternoon in Cork City?

Sunday June 30th 12 noon – 5pm

“Wellbeing in the Park” 12 noon – 5pm Fitzgeralds Park
Presented by Sharon Quigley of Sacred Earth Institue of Sound & Vibrational Healing Sciences in conjunction with Mind Body Institute of Ireland.

Reduce stress and nurture your mind, body and spirit with this inspiring fundraiser for Cork Penny Dinners!

Experience a range of Yoga and Meditation classes every hour from 12 noon with a variety of teachers including Kundalini Yoga, Mindful Movement Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Nada Yoga with Earth Sounds© Gong Sound Bath, Labyrinth Meditation including making and walking a real labyrinth, along with a performance by the Cork Penny Dinners High Hopes Choir.
Please bring your yoga mat and water bottle.

12:noon: Opening Welcome and Sacred Celtic Ceremony as conducted at the Hill of Tara Summer Solstice Gong Ceremony 2017.

12:05 pm:  Kundalini Yoga & Meditation with Shama Kaur

1:00 pm:  Nature Tai Chi with Sinead O’Mani

2:00 pm: Mindful Yoga with Claudia Escobar

3:00 pm: Introduction to Labyrinth Meditation with Thomas from The Hollies in West Cork, how to use the Labyrinth as a meditation and connection to the inner self, expanding your mind and consciousness with a demonstration of how to create your own labyrinth on the ground with simple methods.

3:30 pm: Earth Sounds© Gong bath meditation for stress reduction and calming the mind with Sharon Quigley. (this class will commence while the labyrinth making is in progress on the grass)

4:30pm: A few words from Catriona Twomey, Cork Penny Dinners

4:35 pm: Cork Penny Dinners High Hopes Choir

All classes are free with donation of your choice to Cork Penny Dinners Homeless Kitchen who will be in attendance on the day.
First Aid provided by St John Ambulance
